  Microsoft Server Administrator

Program Description

This program builds on the knowledge pool of the Desktop Support Technician and the Support Professional programs. The program is designed for individuals to start learning the basic body of knowledge, continue to build an expertise is particular Microsoft networking products, and cap it with a solid knowledge of network security. The New Horizons, Microsoft Server Professional Program, is a comprehensive technology program incorporating personal computer hardware, software, network security protocols and Microsoft’s server networking technology. This curriculum will teach a student how to troubleshoot, repair and install personal computer hardware and software in a network environment. It will also show an individual how to install and manage operating systems and work with clients in a Microsoft Windows environment. Additionally students will learn how to design, install and implement a Microsoft local area network based on the Windows server network.
